Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) uses rapidly changing, high-intensity magnetic pulses delivered through a coil to induce electric currents in superficial brain regions. It can be administered as single-pulse stimulation for diagnostic purposes or as repetitive TMS (rTMS) to modulate neural excitability. rTMS is commonly used in the treatment of psychiatric conditions such as depression, OCD, anxiety, addiction and in motor recovery during neurorehabilitation.
At CRC, we also offer Intermittent Theta Burst Stimulation, an advanced stimulation protocol designed to enhance neuroplasticity in shorter treatment sessions. CRC is equipped with three TMS systems, and our TMS treatments are performed using MRI-guided neuronavigation to ensure precise targeting of the intended brain regions and improve treatment accuracy and reproducibility.
